I'm a bit of an equipment junkie; always looking for the next new tool to make a hard job a bit easier. So when Jay asked me to try this handpiece and give him feedback, I said "sure, let's see what this thing's made of". I used this model as well as others such as those available on E-bay during my 2009 shearing run. Some of the other handpieces had some real issues, but this one survived all the punishment I could give it. I would really like to see a better cord on the machine, and I did replace the cord with one from an Andis spare, but other than that, it worked well. It has the same type of floating fork design as the Heiniger/Andis, with easily changeable parts. The cords are also easy to change. Best of all, you've got Jay and his team behind the purchase.
